Why IEP Parents Should Never Agree to the “Let’s just Wait and See”

"Let's just wait and see" is a common stall or delaying tactic when a parent asks for something on an IEP. 99% of all IEP parents have experienced the "Let's Just Wait and See" tactic. It's one of the most common and most effective stall tactics. 

If you're a parent of a child with autism, you've likely heard the phrase "Let's just wait and see" at an IEP meeting. Wait means never. If "Wait and Sees" meant interventions added to IEPs, I'd be out of a job.
