Happy November! I say, let’s really celebrate November! Don’t let it get lost as that “in between Halloween and when we can officially start talking about Christmas” vortex that it seems to get caught in. Let’s really celebrate November for all that is has to offer–cold nights and snuggly mornings, turkey and other great food, and a reminder to be thankful and grateful for all that we have.
Moms, in case you missed it, I am hosting a gratitude challenge this month…all you have to do is tell us what you are grateful for and you could win a subscription to Live Happy Magazine. Of course it’s open to dads too, I just know that it’s mostly Moms who read this blog. But what a great thing to start the new year with…a new subscription to a new magazine.
Here’s a list of twenty Thanksgiving books for children to get your kids in the spirit. All are under $10!
A special addition to this list is my all-time favorite Thanksgiving book from when I was a child, Cranberry Thanksgiving. This book was written and illustrated by local New Jersey authors Wende and Harry Devlin.
I have searched for any of the Cranberry books on Amazon quite a few times, but this was the first time that I found one in print! This is $15.88 for the hardcover, but it is a lovely tale and well worth it. I’m ordering a copy today for my kids to treasure!
