It’s that time of the year again….Harlem Globetrotters in Philadelphia time!
I’ve been working with the Globetrotters for several years and we still look forward to it every year. I remember going as a kid and am so glad that my kids get the opportunity to go.
This is such a great family event.
Can you hear it? The whistling of Sweet Georgia Brown? Love it, watch and take a listen!

Harlem Globetrotters Philadelphia
The Harlem Globetrotters known for their one-of-a-kind family entertainment will bring their 2018 World Tour to Wells Fargo Center on Sunday, March 4 at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to take on their long-time adversaries the Washington Generals.
Another reason I love them…watch this video. Inclusion, not patronizing or condescending.
The Harlem Globetrotters® are legendary worldwide, synonymous with one-of-a-kind family entertainment and great basketball skills for the past 91 years.
With a star-studded roster featuring:
- Big Easy Lofton
- Ant Atkinson
- Hi-Lite Bruton
- Thunder Law
- Bull Bullard
- Cheese Chisholm
- TNT Lister
- Ace Jackson
- Hoops Green
Their games at the Wells Fargo Center will showcase incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy and unequaled fan interaction. After the game, Globetrotter stars will sign autographs and take photos with fans. You also definitely want to check out the players on Instagram. They are really fun to follow and post cool videos all the time.
Tips for getting Globetrotter autographs:
The main thing you need to know is that it happens IMMEDIATELY after the game. I mean, right after! As soon as the clock runs out, they will put up a rope around the court. You have to guide your child around the rope to get the signatures they want. At least that is how they do it in Philly. I cannot be 100% certain about other locations. But it happens fast and it’s crowded, so decide ahead of time which parent is going to take which kid. I once took 3 kindergarteners to the game and I was so afraid I was going to lose them!
